Safety certification is separate from road-use compliance. A product may meet electrical safety standards while still being restricted from public-road or public-path use because of its motor rating or operation.

Does selecting 250W make the Alpha V2 road legal in Queensland?
No. Queensland’s public-use rule is based on the motor’s fitted maximum
continuous power rating, not only the selected software mode. The Alpha
V2 is intended for private-property use in Queensland.
