🛠️ Warranty Coverage

Your new AlphaV2 or NovaV2 ebike is backed by Sun Chaser’s comprehensive warranty program:

• 24-Month Warranty: Frame, seat post, saddle, forks, stem, handlebars, pedals, bottom brackets, rims, fenders, and kickstand.

• 12-Month Warranty: Brakes, battery, lights, wheel hub, derailleur, shifter, throttle, controller, LCD display, and wiring harness.

• 6-Month Warranty: E-bike accessories.

✅ Certified for Safety & Quality

Safety is at the center of our engineering philosophy. Both the AlphaV2 and NovaV2 models have been independently certified to meet leading international standards:

• UL 2849 – Certification for the complete electrical system, including motor, controller, display, charger, and wiring.

• UL 2271 – Certification for the battery pack, ensuring robust construction, long-term reliability, and thermal safety.

These certifications provide peace of mind that every Sun Chaser ebike meets some of the highest safety and quality standards recognised worldwide.

⚙️ Road Compliance & Usage

Sun Chaser e-bikes are designed to meet EPAC (Electrically Power-Assisted Cycle) requirements, allowing them to be used legally on public roads and shared paths across Australia (and many international markets). Key compliance features include:

• Maximum continuous power output: 250 W with pedal assist

• Speed limit: Assistance is limited to 25 km/h on public roads and shared paths

• Private property use: The speed limiter can be removed when used on private land or off-road. It must be re-engaged before use on public roads.

• Throttle use: Permitted on private property only. For legal road use, the throttle must be disabled to comply with EPAC standards.
